Get Back to You and What Makes You Special
Willow Creek Artist Residency- Coming 2026
The CVC’s Willow Creek Artist Residency offers artists a place to disconnect from the everyday demands, and focus on creating. Set in a small old gold mining ghost town on the Continental Divide in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the two week late summer residency is an off grid cabin nestled in a unique mountain town community. Story-telling, simple and comfortable accommodations and work space for artists working in the disciplines of photography, drawing and painting.
The CVC Legacy Project and visual artist/founder Susan Cole find this place so special, we felt compelled to share this as a respite providing artists the physical and mental space to create and grow as a human and artist. We believe one needs the time to explore new practices and relationships, and the opportunity to rest and recharge their physical, spiritual, and creative energy.
The Residency provides housing and workspace for a 2 week long, self-directed stay for emerging, mid-career, and established artists. Artists may bring one other person if so desired, and pets are on a case by case circumstance, though we encourage you to bring your furry family member as Tincup is a happy place for dogs especially.
We believe inclusivity in offering this opportunity to artists from different races, economic backgrounds, disciplines, home states and countries.
